Summary
- Genjutsus are one of the main types of attacks in this game. These techniques are focused on creating illusions and messing with one's perception.
- Unlike Taijutsu or Ninjutsu, Genjutsu does not require you to make contact with the opponent in order to damage them and can be used from a safe distance.
- Genjutsu Kai: An innate ability that gives everyone the chance to release the effects of a Genjutsu simply by tapping or holding X (Block) while under one.
You will need a similar level of Genjutsu Knowledge and Control in order to successfully Kai another player's Genjutsu.
- There are two main types of Genjutsu: Target and Area of Effect
Target Genjutsus require the user to have the opponent targeted before they can use the technique. Due to this, these techniques will generally only affect one person at a time. Can be cast from a further distance compared to an AoE Genjutsu. The effect will wear off if either the victim OR the user is hit.
